He’s a different breed from the Akita dog “Hachi” For people which did not live in Japan, when it comes to Japanese dogs, you will think about the well famous Akita dog which in the movie “Hachi” but I am a Shiba-inu breed. Akitas are about twice as large as compared to regular Shiba-inu. Therefore, Shiba-Inu are often mistaken as Akita breed.
